Ok, I watched Ninja Scroll the series straight through the other night and I enjoyed it. There was a lot of blood, violence, and a dash of nudity. The voice acting could use a little help, but over all it was well done. This is about Jubei and the Lght Maiden, Shigure. Basically, he is caught up in a clan war between the Kimon and the Hiruko. Both clans have mutant ninjas filling their ranks all out to get the dragon stone and the Light Maiden. Oh, the Light Maiden is supposed to be the key to open an ancient treasure, so there is the incentive for the clan war. Which is pretty much it towards the plot. The old monk guy from the movie is in it. The only other character that makes up Jubei's party is a thief, whom I can't remember what his name is. oh well, he was pretty much in there for a bit of comic relief. On the whole I liked it, it wasn't until the end did I have a couple of qualms.

The things that annoyed me are 1) Shigure and thief boy think that Jubei is dead. 2) During the climatic part, the theif, who pretty much didn't do anything in the series but run around, doesn't do anything heroic. He had no purpose in the series. I kinda expected him to do something at the end part but noooo. and 3) I think there could have been more to the final fight between Jubei and the tokugawa captain guy.
