Azumanga Daioh, what to say? It's GREAT! It's pretty much ten minute skits about a group of High school girls who're friends. It's a very funny comedy sure to make you laugh no matter your mood. (hey it worked on me!) The only problem for me was that I kept getting the girl's names confused, except for Chihyo-chan. The animation is nice and smooth. I love when the cat chomps on Sakaki's hand all the time! This series isn't as far out as say Excel Saga, but there is still quite a bit of unexpected wackiness. Let's seee . . . Voice actors. No one really outstanding. They play their parts well, but to me no one in particular satnds out. Chiyo-chan - Jessica Boone (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Angelic Layer, All-Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku-Nuku), Sakaki - Christine M. Auten (Rahxephon, Noir, A.D. Police To Protect and Serve), Yukari - Luci Christian (Full Metal Panic!, Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi, Pretear), Minamo Kurosawa - Monica Rial (Full Metal Panic!, Noir, Rahxephon), Tomo - Mandy Clark (Rahxephon, Noir, Saiyuki, Excel Saga), Osaka - Kira Vincent-Davis (Noir, Rahxephon, Full Metal Panic!), Koyomi - Nancy Novotny. Ok, that's pretty much it for Azumanga Daioh. I've only seen the first disk, but it's a keeper!
